Europe said HET! to the Hammer & Sickle

The Soviet-era hammer and sickle cannot be used as a trademark, or be depicted on products distributed on European market, the European Court of Justice ruled on Tuesday, according to The Budapest Times. Ideological controversy has nothing to do with the Court decision. Combination of a sickle and a hammer is prohibited as a symbol of despotism alongside with the swastika and red star.
